After the Comms team posted a survey last week to sense how many people have booked on to camp, we noticed a worrying lack of people booked on.
We’ve noticed a lot of inquiries from DFs and young Kinsfolk who aren’t necissarily linked with a district anymore. So here’s our advice:
- If you’re from a district, or live in a place, that has a Venturer group or are bringing Venturers, we want you to camp with them- this makes it easier to allocate people to village, source equipment and creates a better sense of community on camp. Get in contact with Kinsfolk in your district to see what their plans are- it’s not too late to get them to add you to their booking. If you don’t have a contact in your district, get in contact with info@venturer.camp.org.uk
- If you’re not associated with a district that’s coming you can book on individually- and even note a district you’d like to camp with
- The cost of the full event is £125 for volunteers, however it is possible to book for less than the full week

- There’ll be loads of DFs there; it will be super fun and adds to our amazing youth led energy! Volunteer support are planning a chill hangout area for young volunteers in the evenings
