VCamp 2008 is over! But we are already planning Venturer Camp 2010!! If you want to get involved, come to Machester on the 4th and 5th of October!

Today we sent out the final invoices and the list of everyone booked in to all the district contacts by first class post, a copy of the letter and invoice (minus attachments) was also emailed to all contacts to make sure that they received a copy. It's not too late to book in, but after the 9th July there will be a further bookings fee (of £10 bringing it in total to £115) and I wont be a very happy bunny as we have to order food, pay for pitches and marquees so don't want to have to still be doing Venturer Camp bookings at that late stage.

HEALTH FORM

A paper copy of the health form has been sent to all districts and can be seen here attached, in the next week it will be put on the website under the bookings section. Districts may use this or their usual health forms as long as it covers the same information. These forms should be sent to and kept with the District (DON'T SEND THEM TO US)

FOOD

A number of people booked in without indicating what kind of food you wanted, if you did this then we will have to assume that you eat anything, if you have any particular datary requirements it is important that we know about them now so that the food team can get to work in ordering things and you can have a happy camp.

As many people know food prices have gone up loads over the last year and since last camp, this has potentially put a strain on things, we wanted to reassure you that we are still committed to having good food which is organic, local and fair trade as much as possible. We have done this by making some small arrangements to move budgets around but are convinced that no area of the camp will suffer because of the inflationary pressure put upon us by reckless bankers and stockbrokers!
