			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After a number of fantastic application a panel selected by the General Council including Venturer representation, has decided to appoint the Camp Coordination group.</p>
<p>Thank you everyone that applied, I believe that it was a hard task for the committee. Each coordinator will be responsible to reporting to the Venturer committee who will manage the camp. The meeting to select the Venturer Committee will be held on the 5th December in Birmingham.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are looking for people to take roles on during the <span>Venturer</span> Camp 2010 which will take place in Derbyshire in 7 &#8211; 15th August 2010 with a Theme Futures.</p>
<p>We are currently looking for the following posts, they will be directed by a group of Ventures, DFs and Venturer Leaders from across the country in producing our regular Venturer Camp Festival.</p>
<p>Are you up for the challenge of coordinating the logistics of the camp? Well if you are then get involved!</p>
<p>We are looking for people who would initially be interested in being:</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold;">Camp Coordinator</span><br style="font-weight: bold;" /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Camp Administrator</span><br style="font-weight: bold;" /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Production Coordinator</span><br style="font-weight: bold;" /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Camp KP (Food Coordinator)</span><br style="font-weight: bold;" /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Site Services Coordinator</span><br style="font-weight: bold;" /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Programme Coordinator</span></p>
<p>Short job descriptions of these roles are bellow, but to take them on you should be over 16 and had experience of running and coordinating camps, We are preferably looking for someone who had taken part in <span>Venturer</span> Camps in the past and willing to spend a significant amount of time in the build up to the camp in getting everything sorted.</p>
<p>If you are interested in any of these posts, then please write a short introduction about yourself, your experience in running camp, the particular role and why you would like to help out at VCamp 2010.</p>
<p>If you are a Venturer, Venturer Leader or a DF and want to have a say about the camp and how it is run, or if you want to take part in being on the camp <span>committee</span> (the people that Will direct the coordinators) then watch this space for information on how to get involved.</p>
<p>If you want to help out but being a central coordinator isn&#8217;t for you, or you have fantastic ideas about running education centres, workshops or Villages then again we will be in contact very shortly.</p>
<p><strong>Camp Coordinator</strong></p>
<ul>
<li> Figure head of the camp</li>
<li> Overall responsible for coordinating the Central Team and the Steering committee</li>
<li> Reports to the steering committee and has experience in working with steering committees in the Woodcraft Folk</li>
<li> Is committed to participation of Venturers in the design and delivery of the camp</li>
<li> Understands <span>Venturers</span> and is a liaison between Venturers, Venturer leaders and DFs.</li>
<li> External spokes person for the camp before and after the event.</li>
<li> With the Administrator and the Production Manager coordinates relations with the site.</li>
<li> With  the Administrator is part of the disputes resolution process</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Camp Administrator</strong></p>
<ul>
<li> Administrator for the camp</li>
<li> Has a detailed understanding of budgets, and camp finances</li>
<li> Has worked in the passed with camp policies and with the Steering Committee and Coordinator produces the camp policies</li>
<li> Takes bookings for the camp and liaises with folk house about staff support and time.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Production Coordinator</strong></p>
<ul>
<li> Coordinates hire of equipment and transport</li>
<li> Coordinators legal and compliance issues</li>
<li> Coordinates Camp liaison with the Administrator and coordinator</li>
<li> Trouble shoots with the Site services team logistical issues.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Camp KP (Food Coordinator)</strong></p>
<ul>
<li> Coordinates with the Cooperative and should have previous relationship with the coop centrally and regionally</li>
<li> Understand ethical purchase</li>
<li> Orders all the food from local, national and regional sources</li>
<li> Creates detailed recipes for the village KPs</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Site Services Coordinator</strong></p>
<ul>
<li> Coordinates the site services team</li>
<li> Coordinates logistics on camp</li>
<li> Waste management systems</li>
<li> Hygiene and Safety coordination</li>
<li> works with and coordinates with the Scout site team.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Programme Coordinator</strong></p>
<ul>
<li> Coordinates the programme</li>
<li> Produces Central programme for the start and end of the camp</li>
<li> Coordinates the theme and learning in the camp</li>
<li> Should have  run a centre at a camp and be dynamic with ideas for new and exciting ways of learning.</li>
