While the cheep fee is £95, becuase we get some late bookings the total amount that we get includes the late bookings fees and the money from grants, TREE, General Council and other income..
You can see that General Council has agreed that last years surplus can be carried over and that is subsidising the camp by £14 per person so that we don’t have to increase the fees.
On the expenditure side, the biggest cost is your food (the one in orange) – now you wouldn’t want to go hungry would you! Next we have site fees (we are charged £3 per person per night) and then on top of that the money for programme and also the admin of making the camp happen.
Not of all of the money can be spent on anything, we have got some money from TREE and the Big Lottery and also have applied to the Cooperative and the Council of Europe for money, these can only be spent on the activities which they have agreed so while we may seem like to we have a lot of money the money that is free to spend on extras like fireworks or bands is limited.
